The affordable housing lottery has launched for Jasper, a 13-story residential building at 2-33 50th Avenue in Hunters Point, Queens. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by The Domain Companies, LMXD, Bridge Investment Group, and The Vorea Group, the structure yields 499 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 150 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $99,429 to $250,380.
Amenities include a rooftop pool, fitness center, media room, children’s playroom, resident and coworking lounges, outdoor terraces, pet-friendly policies, and parking with electric vehicle charging stations. Residences come equipped with washers and dryers, energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
Incentives include one month free on one-year leases, two months free on two-year leases, six-month free amenity trial period, and $1,000 move-in reimbursement toward moving costs.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are 17 studios with a monthly rent of $2,900 for incomes ranging from $99,429 to $161,590; 90 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,300 to $3,500 for incomes ranging from $113,143 to $181,740; 41 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,150 to $4,376 for incomes ranging from $142,286 to $218,010; and two three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $5,039 for incomes ranging from $172,766 to $250,380.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than December 21, 2024.
