Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 258 East 53rd Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Church Avenue and Linden Boulevard, the lot is closest to the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road subway station, served by the 3 train. Isaac Friedman is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 14,601 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 730 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a penthouse and a 20-foot-long rear yard.
Navkiran Cheema of KMA Designs LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
