Given the latest photos of 1715 Broadway, it’s fair to say the block bounded by Broadway, 54th, 55th, and Eighth Avenue has seen a substantial increase in density compared to one year ago. The photos even leave out 237 West 54th, which is invisible when walking down Broadway. Although it’s difficult to see the tumor on 1715 Broadway’s roof, it’s certainly there–you can just make out the concrete at the building’s very top. The cladding needs to be completed before you can truly judge the building, but it seems like the end result will be simple enough.
