YIMBY reader Dave Allen took some fantastic photos of the CitizenM Hotel and One57 over the weekend. The CitizenM, at 218 West 50th Street, is in the final stages of construction. The black facade is almost unnoticeable between the large windows, which–unfortunately–do not make up for an overall mediocre design. The windows will however make the tiny hotel rooms feel much larger from the inside.
One57’s glass is now five floors from the roof, and the latest photos give a different perspective than the Central Park set taken on Saturday. Though it has been several months since the damaged crane was dismantled, a replacement has yet to be installed.
