12-story, 58-Unit Residential & Retail Project Planned At 308 Mulberry Street, NoHo

Broad Street Development has filed applications for a 12-story, 58-unit mixed-use building at 308 Mulberry Street, in NoHo, steps away from the 6, B, D, F, and M trains. The building will measure 103,372 square feet, and will include 11,041 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Residential units will average a spacious 1,592 square feet, indicative of condominiums. Rawlings Architects is the architect of record, and the developer acquired the existing six-story building (with 298 Mulberry Street) for $178.5 million earlier this year.


993 Sixth Avenue

Developer Acquires 993 Sixth Avenue, Approvals For 18-Story, 122-Key Hotel, Midtown

Empire Hotel Group has sold the development site at 993 Sixth Avenue, between West 36th and 37th Street, in Midtown, to an anonymous LLC for $54.3 million. Permits have been approved since 2014 for an 18-story, 122-key hotel, which would measure 44,330 square feet. Edgar Rawlings’ Lower Manhattan-based Rawlings Architects is the architect of record. New Developer Buys Site Of 10-Story Hotel Project At 219 Hudson Street, Hudson Square

Just over a year ago, applications were filed for a 10-story, 56-key hotel building at 219 Hudson Street, in Hudson Square, and since then, the DOB has disapproved of the plans. But now, developer Rafi Gibly has recently sold the development site to Brooklyn-based developer Joel Braver in a $13.2 million deal. It’s not known if the old plans will be reused.
