Located between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Street on Vanderbilt Avenue, the lot is near the 2, 3, 4, 5, N, Q, and R trains at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, and the Long Island Railroad at Atlantic Terminal. Tom Li of Suzuki Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications. In September 2021, New York City Council approved proposals to construct a new 18-story mixed-use building, developed by Atlantic-Vanderbilt Holdings LLC and designed by IMC Architecture, with a mix of market-rate and income-restricted apartments, retail space, a community arts center, and a sub-grade parking garage.
