Renderings Revealed for The New York Korea Center of NYC at 122-126 East 32nd Street, Murray Hill

Progress is finally advancing on the New York Korea Center, at 122-126 East 32nd Street. Located in the Midtown neighborhood of Murray Hill, on East 32nd Street between Lexington and Park, construction began on June 28th with a panel of dignitaries who attended the groundbreaking event.  The building will be designed by SAMOO Architecture PC, and is being developed by Young Park, of Level Group. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York purchased the site for $15.8 million back in March 2008, which included nearly 4,500 square feet of air rights from the neighboring four-story building.

Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 146-15 Northern Boulevard, in Murray Hill, Queens. The site is five blocks away from the Murray Hill train station, serviced by the Port Washington line of the LIRR. The Main Street Subway Station is also ten blocks away, the last stop in Queens for the 7 train. Fuzhou Development will be responsible for the project.

Renderings Revealed for 147-12 Roosevelt Avenue, Murray Hill, Queens

Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 147-12 Roosevelt Avenue, in Murray Hill, Queens. The site is a block and a half away from the Murray Hill train station, serviced by the Long Island Rail Road’s Port Washington line. The Main Street Subway Station is another eight blocks away, which includes the last stop for the 7 train. Restaurants and retail storefronts are plentiful around both transit nodes. Ling Feng International will be responsible for the development.

Solow’s 685 First Avenue Nearing Completion, Murray Hill

Among the few vacant lots remaining in Murray Hill, 685 First Avenue, between East 39th and 40th Streets, was one of the largest before permits were filed back in August of 2015. In May of 2016, the first renderings for the building were released, and by January of this year, construction was several floors above street level. Now, the latest photos from 5B Films show that work has topped-out, and the facade is closing in on the upper levels, as the 42-story tower approaches completion.
