Last month the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency voted final approval of financial incentives for 70 Pier Street, a $11.5 million mixed-use, transit-oriented development in the Ludlow neighborhood of Yonkers.

Led by Ginsburg Development Companies, the four-story building is located in the city’s Ludlow neighborhood and will eventually contain 36 rental apartments, ground-floor retail space, and parking garage for up to 35 vehicles.
Developers will soon break ground on a townhouse-condominium community at 1 Warburton Avenue in Westchester County following approvals to rezone the development site for multifamily use. Located in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson and partially in the City of Yonkers, the development will create 21 two- and three-bedroom townhouses that range from 2,100 to 2,500 square feet.
Verus Development will receive a $56.8 million incentives package to facilitate the completion of a new affordable rental property for low-income seniors at 345 McLean Avenue in Yonkers, New York. The 12-story building will feature 105 apartment in studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts, all reserved for seniors 62 years and older with an income at or below 60 percent of the area median income.
