New renderings from J Frankl Architects reveal an updated design for 260 Gold Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Compared to the previous reveal, the building’s facade will now feature an expansive corner glass curtain wall, multiple atria, and additional greens spaces to both facilitate the flow of natural light and to improve the daily experience of occupants.

Work is moving along on Thomas Heatherwick’s 2.4-acre Chelsea park at Pier 55, aka Little Island, as more trees and greenery are being planted at the elevated waterfront park. The project is being managed by the Hudson River Park Trust (HRPT), and MNLA is designing the landscaping, which was conceived to resemble a leaf floating on water.
A consortium of state agencies has confirmed commencement of the Bayfront Redevelopment Plan in Jersey City, purportedly the largest-ever mixed-income development in the Tri-State Area. The multi-phase project will eventually comprise 8,000 apartments with support from Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop, the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency, and the city’s Departments of Housing, Economic Development, and Commerce.
