The proposal, which will be presented at a public hearing on May 19, calls for the installation of permanent, standardized signs at all 54 park entrances, replacing a mix of existing and obsolete signage with a unified design intended to improve accessibility, visibility, and multilingual communication throughout the scenic landmark.

Plans have been revealed for a 1,090-foot supertall residential skyscraper at 310 Greenwich Street in Tribeca, Manhattan. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Vornado Realty Trust and Stellar Management, the 72-story structure is slated to span 705,309 square feet and yield 976 units, including an affordable housing component. The project team recently submitted an Environmental Assessment Statement to the Department of City Planning for the property, which is dubbed Parcel 3C and located near the southwest corner of Greenwich and Harrison Streets.

Construction is underway on the new home of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan at 361 Central Park West on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by FXCollaborative, the project will convert a landmarked church into a seven-story museum spanning 80,000 square feet. The facility will feature new research-backed exhibits and immersive experiences from THG Creative, as well as a dedicated performance space and a rooftop terrace with views of Central Park. The property is located at the northwest corner of Central Park West and West 96th Street.
