Avison Young to Market Development Site at 816 Amsterdam Avenue, Upper West Side

According to The Real Deal, St. Michael’s Church is seeking a new developer for the vacant site at 816 Amsterdam Avenue, on the Upper West Side. A feud between the church and previous developers ended with the ruling that the old developers were not entitled to the property. Now Avison Young is expected to market the property as a development site; previous plans included a 14-story project.


55-46 84th Street

Six Residential Units Coming to 55-46 84th Street, Elmhurst

Property owner, Rui Wen Gao has filed applications for two three-story buildings at 55-46 – 55-48 84th Street in southern Elmhurst, together comprising of six residential units across a net 5,920 square feet. John C. Chen is designing the project, and an existing two-story abode must first be removed.


801 St. Nicholas Avenue

42 Affordable Residential Units Almost Complete at 801 St. Nicholas Avenue, Sugar Hill

Harlem + Bespoke noticed progress on the renovation taking place at 801-807 St. Nicholas Avenue, on 150th Street in Sugar Hill. NYC Housing Preservation and Development is creating 42 affordable residential units within the six-story, 52,850 square-foot building, and OCV Architects is designing. The restoration appears almost complete, and opening is likely in the coming months.


319 Schermerhorn Street

New Look: 319 Schermerhorn Street, Adam America’s 21-Story Downtown Brooklyn Condo Project

The last year has been somewhat tumultuous for 319 Schermerhorn Street, which was originally set to be developed a mysterious “SC Nevins LLC.” In April, it was announced that Adam America and the Naveh Shuster Group purchased the site, likely for over $30 million, and with the new ownership comes a new design, which YIMBY can now reveal thanks to a watchful tipster.
