The site, comes five blocks away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. This, of course, comes as part of the wave of new development in one of Brooklyn’s most notable neighborhoods. The project would be a door away from a recently built fire station for the FDNY designed by Michielli + Wyetzner Architects. Mortar Architecture + Development will be responsible for both developing and designing.

Architect Karl Fischer’s latest development has taken rise in a buzzing corner of Brooklyn’s East Williamsburg neighborhood. When complete, the project will yield 33, 987 square feet of new residential property, 10,829 feet of prime commercial space, and a 24,070 square foot community facility. Filings also indicate enclosed parking volumes designed to accomodate up to 59 vehicles.
