An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC has filed applications for a six-story, five-unit residential building at 566 Grand Street, in Williamsburg. The project will measure 7,875 square feet and its residential units should average 1,276 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums. There will be a duplex apartment across the ground and second floors, followed by full-floor apartments on the third through sixth floors. William A. Corcoran’s Brooklyn-based firm is the architect of record. The 25-foot-wide, 1,875-square-foot plot is occupied by a two-story building. Records indicate demolition began in January.

Construction has topped out and façade installation is imminent on the nine-story, 175-key Hoxton Hotel under development at 97 Wythe Avenue, located on the corner of North 9th Street in Williamsburg. The structure can be seen in an update by the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. The latest building permits indicate the new building will encompass 80,118 square feet and rise 96 feet to its roof.

A Brooklyn-based property owner has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential project at 156 Devoe Street, in Williamsburg. The project will measure 7,993 square feet and its residential units should average 699 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will be two units per floor; fourth-floor units will also feature space in an upper penthouse level. Steven Kou’s Flushing-based firm is the architect of record. The 2,800-square-foot lot is occupied by a three-story townhouse. Demolition permits were filed last week. Plans for a similar project, filed a year ago by a different developer, have since been withdrawn.
