The Willow Hotel has grown like a weed in recent weeks, and has almost reached its roof, 300 feet (299, to be exact!) above street level. The facade, a surprising breath of fresh air, almost makes up for the bare wall created by the building’s setback (see the building to the right of the Willow in the photo below). It’s still nice to see a developer at least attempt to respect the street-wall with the building’s base. For filler, the Willow Hotel is definitely above average in terms of quality.
