One57’s crane has now collapsed after enduring winds from Hurricane Sandy. The crane is drooping precariously over 57th Street, bent completely in half! Stay safe in the storm and avoid any active construction sites. Winds at the upper levels are predicted to increase even further, so any activity around sites with loose materials should definitely be avoided at all costs.
