Foundation work for The Pyramid is mostly complete, and forms for the project’s ground floor are now in place; the 753-unit development is now rising, and will eventually stand 32 floors and nearly 500 feet.
Designed by BIG and developed by Durst, the Pyramid will be the first of West 57th Street’s new mega-buildings; 606 West 57th Street will soon rise across the street, giving the avant-garde structure another modern counterpart.
Completion of 625 West 57th Street is expected by 2015.
