305 East 51st Street [Curbed]: Since YIMBY’s last update, the Halcyon — a 32-story and 123-unit residential building at 301-305 East 51st Street, in Midtown East — has topped-out and is wrapping up curtain wall installation; “occupants can expect to move in some time in 2015.”

21 Commercial Street [Brownstoner]: Renderings have been posted on-site at 21 Commercial Street — in Greenpoint — the site of a planned six-story and 98-unit affordable housing building; Handel Architects are designing this and another affordable building at 33 Eagle Street. Applications were approved last month, and the building is set to span a total of 85,000 square feet, including a commercial portion on the ground floor; construction is imminent.

108-11 Queens Boulevard [DNAinfo NY]: Construction is wrapping up at 108-11 Queens Boulevard — in Forest Hills — on a 17-story and 97-unit residential building being developed by Cord Meyer. Dubbed The Aston, a construction elevator is currently being removed to make way for an October delivery date.

44 West 66th Street [The Real Deal]: Developer Extell is in contract to buy the parcel at 44 West 66th Street — on the Upper West Side — which is currently home to a two-story religious structure; the property “has 75,000 square feet of development rights.” To the east, Megalith Capital owns the development site spanning 36-40 West 66th; plans call for the demolition of both structures.

160 Van Brunt Street [Commercial Observer]: LIVWRK has acquired the three-story industrial building at 160 Van Brunt Street, in Red Hook, for $21.5 million. The development firm “plans to reposition the building for creative office and retail tenants,” suggesting an interior renovation is imminent.

542 Atlantic Avenue [The Brooklyn Paper]: The two-story Boerum Hill post office — at 542 Atlantic Avenue — is “being forced out by its landlord, who wants to redevelop the property.” The post office has already chosen a new location, but renovations must first occur before they can make the move.

115 Nassau Street [Curbed]: The 51-story and 68-unit residential tower associated with the renovations of The Beekman —  rising at 115 Nassau Street, in the Financial District — has risen to the 10th floor since YIMBY’s last update; Thomas Juul-Hansen is leading the design of the interiors. The first renderings have also surfaced, one depicting a slender tower rising out from behind 5 Beekman’s original structure; the upper portion of the tower has yet to be revealed.

36-16 Main Street [Queens Courier]: Developers have posted an on-site rendering at the site of a planned 15-story residential building at the vacant lots of 36-16 – 36-18 Main Street, in Flushing. A boxy blue structure is depicted; JWC Architects are designing, and completion is set for 2018.
