152 East 87th Street [Daily News]: Gordon Haskett & Co. has received approval from the Board of Standards and Appeals to transform a six-story parking garage into a 19-story, 60-unit residential building at 152 East 87th Street, on the Upper East Side.
72 Caton Place [Commercial Observer]: Suzuki Capital and Gothic Development Group are planning to develop a nine-story, +125-unit residential building at the vacant lot of 72 Caton Place, in Windsor Terrace. C3D Architecture is designing the “100,000 square-foot building.”
282 South 5th Street [Brownstoner]: Midwood Investment & Development’s planned 13-story, 82-unit mixed-use building at 282 South 5th Street, in Williamsburg, has risen to the fourth floor. Completion is likely by the end of 2016.
218 Madison Avenue [New York Post]: ASRR Capital and Suzer Group have acquired a four-story walk-up at 218 Madison Avenue, in Midtown South, for $18.5 million. Plans include demolishing the structure “for a 10-story, [10-unit] luxury property.”
64 East 1st Street [EV Grieve]: Filed in April 2014, Ekstein Development has posted on-site “renderings” of their planned six-story, six-unit residential building to measure 13,500 square feet at 64 East 1st Street, in the East Village. Completion is expected by June 2016.
1865 Broadway [Wall Street Journal]: AvalonBay Communities Inc. has purchased the 12-story building spanning 1861-1869 Broadway, in Lincoln Square, “for $300 million.” Plans include demolishing the existing structure for a mixed-use tower that “could measure more than 300,000 square feet.”
