The New York Times reports New York City F.C. is exploring the potential to build a new mixed-sport stadium at the site of Columbia University’s existing 17,000-seat stadium at 5101 Broadway, in Inwood. The soccer club has been searching for a location for their new stadium, and the Inwood possibility could be as large as 25,000 seats costing $400 million. Plans are only in the exploratory stage.
