Collegiate Churches of New York has filed applications to transform the 12-story buildings at 370-378 West End Avenue, on the Upper West Side, into a single residential structure with 66 units. The Collegiate School building at 370 West End will be replaced with an 18-story structure, and once connected with 378 West End, will measure 198,095 square feet. Units will average 3,000 square feet apiece, and COOKFOX Architects is designing.
The organization acquired the properties last week for $125 million, according to The Real Deal, which broke the story yesterday. YIMBY has a close-up of the COOKFOX-designed addition, which will offer a major positive transformation compared to the old building.
