The Othman family is partnering with an unknown developer to build an eight-story, 54-unit mixed-use building at 801 Washington Avenue, located at the corner of Lincoln Place in western Crown Heights. The plans are still in the preliminary stages.
The 7,410-square-foot site would normally have 29,640 square feet of mixed-use development rights, but the team is currently in contract to acquire 7,400 square feet of additional air rights from a neighboring property. The ground floor will also contain a Key Foods market, the same retailer that currently occupies the site in the form of a single-story building. Construction is expected to begin next year, DNAinfo reported, although new building applications nor haven’t been filed.
