Permits have been filed for a single-story building at 101 Maujer Street, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to serve as a new Gymnasium for the Edward Bush PS 18. The site is six blocks away from the Lorimer Street Station, serviced by the L and G trains. The New York City School Construction Authority is responsible for the development.
The 21-foot tall structure will yield 4,500 square feet of space. The gymnasium will also include offices, storage, and a mezzanine room. Manhattan-based Purcell Architects will be responsible for the design.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
