An anonymous LLC has filed permits for three lots in Far Rockaway, Queens. The proposal is for three identical three-story residential buildings on lots at 11-30, 11-32, and 11-34 McBride Street. The site is a half-mile away from the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue station, end of the A train, and a third of a mile away from the Far Rockaway station serviced by the Long Island Railroad. YIMBY last reported on 11-30 McBride Street in 2015, when permits for a sixteen-unit structure were filed.
The 29-foot tall structures will yield a total 33,050 square feet. The nine living spaces will enjoy 3,672 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums intended for families. Tenants on the first floor will have access to the cellar for accessory use. Eight off-street parking spaces will also be available.
Staten-Island based Design Build Staten Island Inc. will be responsible for the architecture. No completion date has been announced but with the lots already vacant, construction could begin momentarily.
