Permits have been filed for two residential buildings at 3588 and 3592 Greystone Avenue, in The Bronx’s Fieldston neighborhood. The site is located on the top of a steep slope, with no large buildings prohibiting views of the Kingsbridge neighborhood and Van Cortlandt Park below. The 238th Street Station is eight blocks away, serviced by the 1 train. Key Construction will be responsible for development.
Both structures will rise three floors to a height of 28 feet. The combined proposed construction floor area is 8700 square feet. Six apartments will result, averaging 853 square feet apiece, which could mean rentals or condominiums. Five parking spaces will be located within, as well as accessory use for tenants in the below-grade cellar.
Gino Longo Architect will be responsible for the design.
3588 remains undeveloped, and demolition permits have been filed for the detached structure on 3592. The estimated completion date for the project has not been announced.
