Permits have been filed for 55-44 97th Place in Corona, Queens. The site is six blocks east of the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station which offers service on the E, M, and R lines. The location is just west of Flushing Meadows Corona Park, and Aron Development is the developer of record.
The 70 foot tall structure will yield 11,870 square feet of space, with 7,840 of that dedicated to residential space. The six story structure will create six new units, which will average 1,306 square feet each.
Condominiums seem very likely.
Li Architect Associate will be responsible for the design, and an existing structure must first be demolished before work on the replacement can begin.
