Permits have been filed for a two-story community facility at 716 Lincoln Place, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Evangelical Lutheran Church will be responsible for the development.

The 52-foot tall structure will yield 16,000 square feet of space, with 8,390 square feet dedicated to community facility use.

The cellar will include a place of worship, restrooms, kitchen, and storage space. The first floor will house the sanctuary space, as well as classrooms and an accessory office. The second floor will be dedicated to a library, lounge, classroom space, and an outdoor terrace. There will be a recreational space on the rooftop.

Kossar + Garry Architects LLP will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits for the existing single-story community facility were filed in late February 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
