Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2308 Andrews Avenue N in the University Heights neighborhood of The Bronx. The site is four blocks away from the Fordham Road subway station, serviced by the 4 trains, and four blocks further from an identically named station serviced by the D trains. Five blocks away is the University Heights train station, serviced by the Hudson trains along MetroNorth. Semyon Muratov is listed as behind the applications.
The 60-foot tall structure will yield 9,630 square feet for residential use. 12 apartments will be created, averaging 803 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will have access to a lobby, laundry room and storage space for six bicycles. The two ground floor units will be duplexes, extending into the cellar.
Citiscape Consulting LTD will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the derelict three-story structure on site. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
