Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 104 Martin Luther King Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks from the Myrtyle-Willoughby Avenues subway station, serviced by the G trains. Nine blocks away is the Flushing Avenue subway station, serviced by the J, M, Z trains and major intersection for retail. Joel Weiss of Empire Brooklyn is listed as responsible for the development.
The 60-foot tall structure will yield 20,070 square feet, with 14,950 square feet dedicated to residential use. Ten apartments will be created, averaging a spacious 1,495 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums. Residents will have accessory storage in the cellar, and a rooftop recreation space.
S Wieder Architect will be responsible for the design.
The lot is currently vacant, meaning construction can start as soon as permits are approved. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
