Located at 23-67 31st Street, The Nordic is a Scandinavian-inspired residential building from AKI Development in Astoria, Queens. Leasing at the boutique rental property is now underway, with occupancy expected this September.
The local development group is also responsible for Graffiti House which is also located in Astoria.
Described as the “most technologically advanced residential building in Queens,” future occupants will enjoy a variety of high-tech systems including key-less entry in both residential and amenity areas, motorized window treatments, smart home automation tools, temperature control panels in residential bathrooms, “touchless flush” toilets, and radiant heat flooring in all apartments, penthouse terrace, and entry sidewalk.
Inside, there are eight single-bedroom residences and a two-bedroom penthouse. Layouts are designed as spacious open-floor plans with 10-foot ceilings, private outdoor space, and a full suite of luxury appliances.
Both North and South-facing facades feature murals by Swedish artist Tony ‘Rubin’ Sjöman that span the full height of the building. The artist was also commissioned to create an eight-story installation within the elevator shaft that can be seen through a custom glass viewing wall in the elevator.
Amenities include a landscaped roof deck with outdoor cooking areas and communal seating, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and storage facilities for bicycles and cold packages.

Please pardon me for using your space: How good? Modern and up-to-date designs.
When will space be available to rent ?
Will they have a walkway taking residents directly to the N train, which will be right outside their windows?
