Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 1146 47th Street, just south of Greenwood Cemetery in Borough Park, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the D trains. Lush Developers is listed as behind the applications.
The 43-foot tall structure will yield 11,300 square feet, with 5,020 square feet dedicated to residential use, and 5,900 square feet dedicated to commercial use. Eight apartments will be created, averaging 625 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have access to storage and laundry room. Parking for two vehicles will be included. It is unclear what will occupy the commercial space.
Queens-based Grigori Zinkevitch Architect will be responsible for the design.
The estimated completion date has not been announced. Demolition permits have not been filed yet.
