Updated Design Revealed for Eli Karp’s Hello Nostrand at 1580 Nostrand Avenue in Prospect Park Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn

Updated rendering of Hello Nostrand

Hello Living’s 1580 Nostrand Avenue has resumed construction following a scaled-down redesign of the residential development. Located in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, the structure would have been one of South Brooklyn’s tallest towers at 23-stories.

Today, new renderings depict a bisected, 6-story design with a central landscaped courtyard. The property will offer 209 residences described as floor-through rental units with private terraces throughout. Layouts will range from two to four bedrooms.

Hello Nostrand will also include a two-story community facility.

Although the structure’s height has been reduced, the project will yield 56 additional residences, up from a previous total of 153 units.

The most recent DOB permits include Vincent Martineau Architect.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Belonging to its design and relating to its purpose. Beautiful. (Thank you)

  2. I’m happy that this shoddy development is NOT actually in my neighborhood (Prospect Lefferts Gardens). It is quite far to the south.

  3. Sadly this monstrosity is in MY neighborhood, East Flatbush and it’s ridiculous. Hello Living and developers of their like are ruining Brooklyn.
