Permits have been filed for a new building at 133-02 Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Standing at the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and 133rd Street, it will be a ground-up project containing 28,360 square foot of commercial and community facility space, and Michael Barone of Marina Ice Cream Corp. is listed as the developer.
Victor Filletti is the architect of record. The three-story structure will be built with reinforced concrete. There will also be enclosed parking with space for 36 vehicles.
The property itself measures 7,374 square feet, and is 75 feet long while the building will eventually stand 35 feet to the rooftop. The closest subway station is the Jamaica – Van Wyck stop on the E Train, while the Van Wyck Expressway sits directly to the south, less than five minutes away by car.
No completion date for the project has been announced yet.
