Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1140 43rd Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station, serviced by the D trains. Shimon Lichtenstein of YML Realty will be responsible for the development.
The 44-foot tall structure will yield 10,300 square feet, with 8,240 square feet for residential use. Eight apartments will be created, averaging 1,030 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums. Residents will have access to a lobby, but no shared amenities.
Grigori Zinkevitch Architect will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in May of 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

Glad it will be a 4 story and not 8 or 12. Will fit in more with the neighboring houses.
Please pardon me for using your space: A four-story residential building is a book. Correct? Andrew Nelson. (Hello YIMBY)
Wow, I remember growing up right across the street from that little house. I remember the family that lived there. How times change. lol.
