Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 1281 37th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of 13th Avenue and 37th Street, the lot is near the Church Avenue subway station, served by the F and G trains. Shmaye Rabinowitz of 284 Prospect Park West LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 7,159 square feet, with 6,949 square feet designated for residential space and 209 square feet for commercial space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 694 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and two enclosed parking spaces.
Asher Hershkowitz of Asher Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the three-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
