Permits have been filed for a three-story mixed-use building at 36-25 172nd Street in Murray Hill, Queens. The site is five blocks away from the Auburndale train station, serviced by LIRR. Xuemei Yi is listed as behind the applications.

The 30-foot tall structure will yield 20,900 square feet, with 4,720 square feet dedicated to a ground floor ambulatory facility, and 16,150 square feet dedicated to residential use. 18 apartments will be created, averaging 900 square feet, which could mean rentals or condominiums. Parking spaces will be included on site for ten bicycles and seventeen vehicles.

Michael Kang Architect is listed as responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have been filed in May for the existing two-story structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
