Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 378 East 165th Street in Fleetwood-Concourse Village, The Bronx. The site is three blocks from the Melrose train station, serviced by Metro North. Alex Gilkarov is listed as behind the applications.
The 63-foot tall structure will yield 25,090 square feet, with 20,910 square feet dedicated to residential use. 31 apartments will be created, averaging 675 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Nine parking spaces will be added to the site. Residents will benefit from a laundry room, bicycle storage, and an outdoor recreation space.
Issac & Stern Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits will not be needed for the empty lot, so construction can start as soon as new building applications are approved. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
