Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 303 Powell Street, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks west of the L Train’s Sutter Avenue subway station, and two blocks north of the Junius Street station on the 3 line. Mosche Ostricher will be responsible for the development.
The 63-foot tall steel structure will yield 21,447 square feet within, with 14,986 square feet dedicated to residential use. 22 apartments will be created, averaging 681 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Off-street parking will be included for six vehicles. The interior lot has a rear yard 35 feet in length.
Diego Aguilera Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits are not needed as the lot is vacant. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
