Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 2602 Pitkin Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between 75th Street and 76th Street, the lot is one block north of the Freeman Street subway station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. Ralph Fasano of Concern for Independent Living is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 89-foot-tall development will yield 62,716 square feet, with 29,949 square feet designated for community facility space, 21,967 square feet for residential space, and 10,800 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.

Dattner Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
