New construction permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 92-54 Queens Boulevard in Rego Park, Queens. Located between Eliot Avenue and 62nd Avenue, the interior site is situated close to where the Long Island Expressway meets Queens Boulevard. Just over two blocks east is the 63rd Avenue-Rego Park subway station, serviced by the M and R trains. The property is owned by Hai Heng Luo and is listed under Quincy Realty LLC.
The masonry building will yield 39,400 square feet, with 23,963 square feet allotted to residential space and 44,794 square feet dedicated to commercial space on the first floor. Along with 30 residential units to be created, there will be a cellar, nine enclosed parking spaces, and a 46-foot long yard in the rear. Apartment averaging 798 square feet apiece are likely to be rentals within the 85-foot tall structure.

No demolition permits have been filed as of yet for the site that currently houses six 1-story active storefronts. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
