Omni New York has revealed renderings for the Morris II Apartments taking shape in The Bronx. Located at 2980 Park Avenue, the project arrives as phase two of a multi-building affordable housing project owned and developed by Omni New York.
Designed by Curtis + Ginsberg Architects, Morris II will rise 15 stories and contain approximately 160,300 square feet of residential space. A 4,600 square foot community facility will occupy the ground level. Out of 154 residential units, a large portion will be reserved for low income families and individuals. The developer has also reserved 46 units to accommodate the formerly homeless.
Since 2004, Omni New York has committed to sustainable building practices. Phase one, officially known as Morris I Apartments, has already met LEED Gold certification. Morris II Apartments is being designed under “Passive House” guidelines, which focus on air quality, high-performance window systems, low energy consumption, and superinsulation to reduce temperature loss and gain.
Omni New York expects to complete the project by 2019.

Please pardon me for using your space: Larger than the building are colors, first look and look again I catch colors at first.
