Permits are up for a ten-story residential building at 1771 Weeks Avenue, in Mount Hope, The Bronx. The site is two blocks away from the 174-175th street subway station, serviced by the D train. Stephen De Vardo, operating under an LLC, is responsible for the filings. Back in 2015, Lorenzo De Vardo filed for a ten-story, 18-unit development with a square footage of 19,512 square feet on the same lot.
New plans for the 110-foot tall structure will yield 46,054 square feet, with 39,398 square feet dedicated to residential use. The structure will have 50 apartments, with an average of 787 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Additional details include a cellar and rear yard 31 feet long.
Jorge I Aguirre is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the existing structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
