Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 626 Hinsdale Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between New Lots Avenue and Linden Boulevard, the lot is two city blocks east of the New Lots Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Leslie Grant, owner of Rainbow Car Service, is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot tall development will yield 5,900 square feet, with 4,092 square feet designated for residential space. This masonry structure will likely be rentals, as the six residences have an average size of 682 square feet each. Plans for the interior site also include a 41-foot long rear yard.
Anthony Hatziioannou’s Jericho, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record.
No demolition permits have been filed as of yet for the single family, two-story dwelling currently on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
