Permits have been filed for a six-story apartment building at 2337 Bedford Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Albemarle Road and Tilden Avenue, the corner lot is six city blocks west of the Beverly Road subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Cheskel Schwimmer of Chess Properties is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 67-foot tall development will yield 29,116 square feet, with 18,380 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 27 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 14 enclosed parking spaces.
Shmuel Wieder of S. Wieder Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in February 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
