Construction has topped out and façade work is underway at 138 North 10th Street, a six-story warehouse-inspired condominium complex in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The project is being designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Eli Hamway and Michael Shamah of Eastern Capital Group. The structure will contain nine loft homes with two- and three-bedroom units, as well as two lower triplexes. Halstead Property Development Marketing’s The Aguayo Team is marketing and handling sales, with units starting at $1.7 million. The site is located on North 10th Street between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue.

A recent photo spotted on Morris Adjmi’s Instagram shows the simple, handsome brick curtain wall running between the large floor-to-ceiling glass panels. Mutual Materials is in charge of the brick appearance, which is called “Harbor Mist.” The rectangular-shaped, industrial-style windows sit slightly out from the masonry and add a layer of depth to the edifice. Work is moving along on the outdoor terrace space on the fifth floor, where 138 North 10th Street sets back from the sidewalk. The fifth and sixth floors run flush with the adjacent roof lines.

Each residence will have wide-plank flooring, natural stone countertops, and high ceilings. The windows will be 12 feet wide and 10 feet tall. Each triplex home will have a private landscaped backyard, recreation space in the cellar level, a kitchen and dining room on the first floor, and two bedrooms on the top floor.

Amenities will include a ground-floor fitness center and a garage for one vehicle.

The closest subway is the L train to the south at Bedford Avenue or the G train to the north at Nassau Avenue.

  1. PARDON ME FOR USING DAVID’S SPACE

  2. Please pardon me for using your space: Collocation on construction and details, I have to thank to you for collocating. (Thanks to Michael Young)

  3. OK, is there nothing that can be done regarding the idiotic posts that appear daily on this site? Are this site’s managers unaware of what is being posted and how these writers contribute nothing intelligent to any discussion? And what’s this bull about “space” and using it up? I’ll be looking for changes and if I see none I’m leaving.

  4. For a long time, David was the only commenter on many articles on YIMBY. He still is sometimes. His daily word puzzles reminded us that the comments existed, and they’ve obviously done their part in encouraging more comments. The upshot: Maybe it’s we who are using his space.

  5. Anyway the windows and terraces are wonderful but too bad about the garage.

  6. nycfan: I hate to belabor this issue but these are not “word puzzles” by any measure of the imagination. They are simply foolish ramblings from a person who craves attention, and that’s sad. Any replies to these musings, although rare, suggest weak attempts to make these silly comments relevant. Furthermore I do not buy any argument that suggests these “daily word puzzles” encourage ANY responses, salient or otherwise. Seeing these meaningless posts on EVERY article diminishes the quality of this platform and is truly embarrassing, for the readers and for him.
