Construction is getting very close to topping out at 45 Park Place, one of the newest towers to rise along the border of Tribeca and the Financial District. The upcoming 667-foot-tall residential skyscraper is being designed by SOMA Architects, with Ismael Leyva Architects serving as the executive and residential architect. Sharif el-Gamal of Soho Properties is the developer of the reinforced concrete structure, which will stand 43 stories high. Sales of the units, which feature interiors designed by Piero Lissoni, are being handled by Corcoran Sunshine.
The site is located on Park Place between Church Street and West Broadway. The tower may not be a supertall, but it is still a significant contribution to the dense cluster of buildings in the vicinity of the World Trade Center. The gently stepping profile on the eastern façade has become more prominent and visible as the tower has risen. The structure will eventually climax with the three-stepped pinnacle and roof parapet crowned in glass, the concrete portion of which already appears to have topped-out.
Meanwhile, the glass curtain wall has quickly risen on the main southern elevation and should peak over the surrounding towers sometime this summer.
The closest subways include the 2 and 3 at the Park Place Station; the 1, A, and C train at Chambers Street; the R and W at City Hall; and the 4, 5, J, and Z trains at the Fulton Street subway station. The PATH can be accessed to the south at the Oculus. The nearest supermarket is the Whole Foods Market at the intersection of Greenwich Street and Warren Street.
45 Park Place should most likely top out this month and be completed next year.

The tower would be built on its beautiful views to the city, although couch or curtain not install in this time. (Thanks to Michael Young)
It’s not on the border. Tribeca ends at Chambers Street.
The Era of the Silverbox just never gets tired…
I heard construction has come to a halt because their lender stopped funding…anyone know about this?
Yes, lawsuits are piling on and vendors have not been paid since mid 2018. We need to stop writing about this clown.
I have got to clean my apartment, some other time.
That’s so cool! I don’t suppose I’ve read anything such as this before. So pleasant to obtain somebody with some primary thoughts on this matter. Really thank you for beginning this up.
