Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 3631 Johnson Avenue in Spuyten Duyvil, The Bronx. Located between West 236th Street and Oxford Avenue, the interior lot is closest to the 238th subway station, serviced by the 1 train. Danny Lau under the Great Gold Summit LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 28,310 square feet, with 19,979 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 22 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 908 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and eight enclosed parking spaces.

Michael Kang Architect is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed in October of last year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Spuyten Duyvil, and also Marble Hill, in the Bronx have, more or less, defined borders to the north, which is about 230 or 231 Street. This address is squarely in the Riverdale section of the Bronx which, in itself, would add substantial value to the address on Johnson Ave.
