Aerial images of The Standard in New Rochelle, New York reveal façade and exterior detailing has nearly wrapped at the new high-rise building, which will further anchor the ongoing renaissance in the vicinity. The photos come courtesy of Karen Hessel, posted on the YIMBY Forums.
Located at 251 North Avenue, The Standard will partially repurpose a historic Neo-Classical structure that once housed daily newspaper The Standard Star. As previously reported by YIMBY, the development will comprise approximately 87,000 square feet. The building will eventually yield 112 rental units and about 4,000 square feet of ground floor retail.
Residential amenities include a roof deck with cooking areas, a fitness center, meeting rooms, a communal lounge equipped with a full kitchen, dining area, and entertainment.
The Cappelli Organization broke ground on the 14-story rental property in April 2018, which should be fully completed by the end of this year.
