Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 533 Pacific Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Located between Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue, the through lot also known as 542 Atlantic Avenue is steps away from the Atlantic Avenue-Barclay Center subway station, serviced by the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. The property is owned by Sterling Town Equities, which bought the commercial site last year for $28 million.
The proposed 124-foot-tall development will yield 67,556 square feet, with 64,407 square feet designated for residential space, 3,001 square feet for commercial, and 148 for community use. The building will have 43 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,497 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and nine enclosed parking spaces.
Ramy Issac of Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the site of the former Times Plaza post office. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Looking forward to seeing this one hitting the auction block… market is way too saturated, and this developer overpaid for the site.
