Located between Oliver Place and East 199th Street, the lot is one block from the Botanical Garden stop on the Metro-North. The closest subway station is Kingsbridge Road, serviced by the B and D trains. Russell Lang of Douglaston Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 113-foot-tall development will yield 107,158 square feet, with 94,472 square feet designated for residential space and 12,686 square feet for commercial use. The building will have 189 affordable housing residences for seniors, with an average unit scope of 499 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Stephen B. Jacobs Group is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The nearest subway stop is BEDFORD PARK BLVD (200th St) at the Grand Concourse., on the ‘D’ Train, about four blocks to the west, and the #4 Train at Beford Park Blvd and Jerome Ave, three blocks further west.
