Permits have been filed for a six-story transient shelter at 142 East 22nd Street in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located near the intersection of Duryea Place and East 22nd Street, the lot is between the two Beverley Road subway stations, serviced by the 2, 5, and Q trains. Liberty One Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 33,008 square feet, with 21,950 square feet designated for commercial space. The building will have 10 residences, according to the permit filed. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 15-foot-long rear yard. No details have been released about what services the shelter will offer residents.

Yevgeniy Mekhtiyev of IMC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed for the parking lot currently on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
